Renewable Energy Focus is going stateside with a brand new website dedicated to providing US-centric news, information and feature articles.

The site www.renewableenergyfocusUSA.com is aimed at those involved (or wanting to be involved) in the renewable energy industry in the USA, whether on the financing side, manufacturing, project management or even product installation. As well as covering the big picture issues at the Federal level, visitors will be able to drill down into individual States for the latest regional news and views.

Although the site is completely dedicated to what’s happening in the USA, we will also provide a link to relevant technical articles from our international site so that our visitors to the US site don’t miss out on best practice and new technology/policies from around the world.

Why a US-dedicated product?

The last year has been an eventful one for the renewable marketplace. Not only did a President with green aspirations enter the White House, but Congress passed legislation giving billions of Dollars to renewable energy.

Off the back of that, should a post-Copenhagen emissions deal include the USA, all bets on a rapidly-expanding renewables market in the USA will be on. And the incentives and long-term policy frameworks should spur growth from 2010 and onwards.
